Imagine the impact if all Georgia companies did more business with each other.
The Power of Working Together
A stronger statewide economy. Increased job growth. New partnerships. A sense of Georgia pride.
Introducing the Georgia2Georgia campaign, a homegrown awareness initiative rooted in corporate responsibility, good citizenship and individual impact on overall economic growth. When Georgia companies and governments commit to doing more business with in-state partners, we'll strengthen our economy for years to come.
The Georgia2Georgia campaign has the power to connect Georgia's businesses like never before to each other (B2B), to government procurement entities (B2G) and ultimately to customers (B2C). The idea was sparked by feedback received through the Georgia Competitiveness Initiative, as well as from members of the Georgia Chamber.
One of the ways you can get engaged with this campaign is to participate in our 2% challenge, a commitment to try to do 2% more business with Georgia companies this year.
More about Georgia2Georgia
“Supporting other Georgia companies will benefit not only the businesses themselves, but all of the employees who work for the companies. I believe that we should buy locally as much as possible. If I have a choice between two companies that offer the same product at comparable prices, I will
choose the Georgia company!”
“It is important for Georgia companies to embrace other Georgia companies because it helps to raise the overall business performance in the state and keep things organic. It also demonstrates to out-of-state companies that the business community believes in each other as well as the state.”
“There are direct and indirect benefits from two local businesses working together. Not only do the two companies involved in the transaction realize the beneficial exchange of goods and services, but working together within our state promotes a strong workforce and contributes to a growing state GDP. This results in a positive business climate which can attract additional businesses to locate to our great state.”
“In pursuit of global business relationships, it’s shortsighted to ignore companies in our own backyard. Connections to businesses and individuals within Georgia are more important than ever because they drive overall wellbeing and contribute to superior results for both Georgia companies and more importantly, our local Georgia communities.”
“Zep Inc. was founded 77 years ago with a philosophy that companies who take care of their customers also contribute to their community. Growing our relationships with Georgia businesses isn’t just about growing our sales; it’s about growing our involvement in the community.”
